Is ID Protection really free?+
Yes — every domain we sell includes WHOIS privacy at no extra cost. Your name, address, email, and phone are replaced with proxy contact info in the public WHOIS record.
Can I transfer my existing domain to Apex?+
Absolutely. Unlock your domain at your current registrar, request the EPP/auth code, and start the transfer from your Apex dashboard. Most transfers complete in 5–7 days and include a free 1-year renewal.
What nameservers should I use?+
Domains registered with us default to free Apex DNS (dns1.apexmanagedhosting.com / dns2.apexmanagedhosting.com), but you can point to any nameservers you want — Cloudflare, Route 53, your own, anywhere.
Will my domain auto-renew?+
Auto-renew is on by default. We send reminder emails 30, 7, and 1 day before expiry, and you can toggle auto-renew on/off any time from your dashboard.
Can I get a refund if I make a mistake?+
Domain registrations are non-refundable once registered with the registry — that's an industry standard. We refund accidental purchases caught within 1 hour, and we'll always work with you on edge cases.
